Dedé delighted with Brazil return

Vasco defender Dedé has admitted that he was delighted to have pulled on the Brazil shirt again after failing to make the squad for the Olympic Games earlier this summer.
The 24-year-old, who was recently linked with Manchester United and AC Milan, replaced Chelsea centre-back David Luiz halfway through the second-half during the Seleção's 3-0 win over Sweden on Wednesday.
''I'm delighted to have had the opportunity to play 25 minutes. I showed what I could do, and we won,'' Dedé told reporters.
''Many believed that the atmosphere in the squad was bad because we lost in the Olympic final [against Mexico], but we've managed to transform the negative thoughts into positive ones.''
Dedé could get the chance to add to his three Brazil caps when the five-time world champions take on South Africa in São Paulo on September 7th.
