Guarin: Inter want Fernando

Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin has revealed that the Nerazzurri are interested in taking his former Porto team-mate Fernando to the San Siro this summer.
Fernando, 25, who came to international prominence alongside Colombian Guarin in the Porto midfield under Andre Villas-Boas has never been capped by his country, but enjoys a growing reputation in the European game.
"Inter are very interested in Fernando. They have asked me about him and I had nothing but good things to say to them," Guarin told O Jogo.
"He is a top player, who would help any team out a whole lot. If he chose to come play his football at Inter in the future, then I would be very happy."
Fernando joined Porto from Vila Nova in 2007, aged 20, and spent is first season in Portugal on-loan at Estrela da Amadora.
