Chelsea midfielder Ramires was delighted with his performance against Sweden and is now determined to retain his place in Brazil's squad - at least until the next World Cup in 2014.
The 25-year-old had been overlooked by coach Mano Menezes for an entire year but was back in action for the Seleção on Wednesday night as they comfortable defeated the Swedes 3-0 in Stockholm's Rasunda stadium.
''It was a great pleasure to wear the Brazil shirt again,'' Ramires told Lance. ''This was an important game for me, I tried to give my best and I'm glad I was able to help the team.
''I'm happy to be back, and I will do everything to make sure I stay in the squad until the World Cup. My main aim now is the national team.''
