No Chelsea bid for Hulk - report

A source close to Chelsea has insisted that the West London club have at no point entered negotiations for the forward this summer, according to ESPNsoccernet.
Hulk, 25, has been linked to Chelsea all year and there have been several reports indicating that a deal with FC Porto was imminent, but latest reports suggest that an agreement was never on the cards.
In the past few days there has been talk of a £40 million offer from Zenit St Petersburg for the forward, but ESPN's source also believes this would not be enough to secure the Brazilian's signature.
"I have not heard about a bid from Zenit, but at £40 million I cannot see Porto selling," the report states.
"I know Chelsea have been linked with Hulk all summer, in fact all year. But Chelsea have never negotiated. Chelsea know the price and are not prepared to even negotiate around those sort of figures."
Chelsea have been in the market for attacking players all summer, but with the arrivals of Oscar, Eden Hazard and Marko Marin secured and youngster Victor Moses imminent, it appears that a future move for Hulk remains unlikely.
