Guly do Prado and Southampton slay Wolves
Southampton secured another friendly win on Saturday with victory over Wolves, who found themselves relegated from the Premier League last season.
The Saints were on-top all game and finished with a 2-0 win, with goals from forwards Billy Sharp and Jason Puncheon.
The Brazilian Guly do Prado, who played 75 minutes of the encounter, was delighted with victory.
"It was a high intensity game, with several chances created and good possession of the ball against an important team who have just gone down," Guly said post-match.
"It was important that we scored twice and kept a clean-sheet, this gives the team confidence ahead of the season opener with Manchester City.
"Now, we have two more important games that will only serve to give us more confidence."
