Inter Milan to offer Maicon a new contract?

Maicon could be set to remain at Inter Milan as reports in Italy are suggesting that the club could offer the defender a new contract.

The 31-year-old’s current deal at the San Siro expires next June and speculation has long suggested that the Nerazzurri are hoping to cash in on the Brazilian this summer, with Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain all credited with an interest.

However, if no club meets Inter's €8 million asking price for Maicon then the Serie A giants will offer the right-back a new contract, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
