Cortez wants São Paulo double

São Paulo full-back Cortez is hoping his side can challenge for a historic league and Copa Sudamericana double this season, as the continental competition looms large.
Cortez, 25, joined São Paulo from Botafogo at the turn of the year with a view to winning trophies, but the Paulista side have thus far failed to impress in 2012.
The full-back, capped by Brazil last year, believes that the club cannot afford to prioritise in their pursuit of silverware.
Cortez told Lancenet!: "The two competitions are very important. We shouldn't prioritise, we must give our all in both. We must have the mentality play well against Bahia, before another game with Sport on Sunday. We can't hold back, we must go for it."
