Brasileirão round-up: São Paulo heap more misery on Fla, Atlético-MG & Flu play out a goalless draw

Brasileirão: Round 13
Fluminense 0-0 Atlético Mineiro
Atlético Mineiro remain at the top of the Campeonato Brasileiro after playing out a goalless draw with Fluminense at the Engenhão.
Former Lyon striker Fred managed to find the target five minutes from time only for the linesman to incorrectly rule the goal offside much to the dissatisfaction of the Tricolor faithful.
The result means Fluminense remain in third, four points behind second-placed Vasco, and six points adrift of leaders Atlético.
São Paulo 4-1 Flamengo
Flamengo's miserable run in the Brasileirão continued as they were thrashed 4-1 at São Paulo.
Maicon opened the scoring for the home side in the 41st minute before former Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano made it 2-0 right on the stroke of half-time.
Fabiano found the target again just before the hour mark only for Ramon to pull on back for Flamengo seven minutes later.
The Rubro-Negro’s goal, though, only proved to be a consolation as Jadson ensured the points for São Paulo two minutes into stoppage time.
Sport Recife 0-0 Atlético Goianiense
Atlético Goianiense remain second from bottom after drawing 0-0 with Sport Recife in Pernambucano.
Bahia 0-0 Corinthians
Corinthians hopes of retaining their Brasileirão title seem all but over after they were held to a goalless draw at Bahia.
The result means the Timão remain in eleventh place, sixteen points adrift of leaders Atlético.
Santos 2-1 Ponte Preta
Santos registered their second win in the Brasileirão this season after defeating Ponte Preta 2-1 at the Vila Belmiro.
Miralles netted the winner for the Peixe in the 85th minute just moments after Roger had cancelled out Bruno Pere’s first-half strike.
The result means Santos remain one place above the relegation zone in sixteenth position, while Ponte drop down to tenth.
Cruzeiro 2-1 Palmeiras
Borges' double helped Cruzeiro defeat Palmeiras 2-1 in Belo Horizonte.
The former Santos forward opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 36th minute after Walter Montillo was brought down in the box by Joáo Victor.
Just before the hour mark, Borges made it 2-0 meaning that Hernán Barcos’ converted spot kick halfway through the second-half proved to be a mere consolation for Palmeiras.
Portuguesa 3-1 Náutico
Portuguesa came from behind to beat Náutico 3-1 at the Canindé.
Kieza fired the visitors into the lead in the 8th minute only for Moisés to equalise on the hour-hour mark.
Ananias headed Portuguesa in to the lead twelve minutes after the half-time break before Diego Viana wrapped up the points three minutes from time.
