Agent – Barcelona and AC Milan interested in signing Hernanes

AC Milan and Barcelona are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Hernanes, according to the player's agent.

The 27-year-old was one of the star performers for the Biancoclesti last season, finding the back of the net 11 times in 37 competitive appearances.

Hernanes' representative insists that his charge is happy to remain at Lazio, but claims that the former São Paulo player has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including the likes of Milan and Barça.

''Right now I am in Brazil, but in August I will travel to Rome,'' Joseph Lee told Lalaziosiamonoi.it. "I will speak again with president Claudio Lotito.

''I have received many phone calls from people who want to ask for information about my client. I have not yet received any offer from a big club, but many phone calls from agents.

''I have heard that Barcelona and AC Milan are interested, but there has been no offer from them.

''Hernanes has a contract with Lazio and he has frequently said that he wants to stay in Rome. His name, however, is circulating amongst many agents.''
