Mano Menezes critical of Brazil defence

Brazil manager Mano Menezes has criticised Brazil's defence after a poor second-half showing saw Egypt threaten to overturn a three-goal deficit, with the game finishing 3-2.
Real Madrid full-back Marcelo and Inter Milan defender Juan bore the brunt of the post-match media criticism, but Brazil's midfield suffered as Egypt pressed higher up.
Menezes, who is under intense scrutiny during the tournament, was not happy with what he witneseed.
"Tactically, our defensive midfielders played too high up. in the defensive spells, they must support the defend," said the former Corinthians coach. "We were poorly positioned in the second-half for Egypt's goals.
"If Rafael and Marcelo run forward at the same time to join the attack, there is a problem. Both players cannot go forward together, even if we are ahead."
