Fernando Torres: Everyone at Chelsea is excited to have Oscar

Fernando Torres has revealed that he and his Chelsea team-mates are looking forward to playing alongside the club's new signing Oscar.

The 20-year-old, who is in Brazil's Olympic squad, joined the Blues from Internacional on Wednesday in a deal reported to be worth £25 million.

''Everyone at Chelsea is excited to have Oscar with us. We are sure he is a great player and will have a bright future,'' Torres said.

''Hopefully, he can finish as late as possible in the Olympics because it will be good for him, the same for Juan Mata with Spain and Daniel Sturridge with GB. It will mean they are in the final. However, we want them back as soon as possible to join in and help us, to be involved as much as they can with the Chelsea team and we can all start to think about the new season.''
