Vasco 1-0 Botafogo
Vasco have moved back up to the top of the Campeonato Brasileiro after defeating their local rivals Botafogo at the Engenhão.
The only goal of the game came in the 87th minute when Alecsandro converted Juninho Pernambucano's pass from close range.
Náutico 3-4 Coritiba
Coritiba climbed up to fourteenth in the Brasileirão after snatching a dramatic 4-3 victory at Náutico.
Souza fired the home side in front in the 13th minute before Robinho leveled proceedings two minutes later.
Náutico retook the lead through Kieza's strike moments later, but after eleven minutes of play in the second-half, the Recife outfit found themselves behind after Leonardo found the back of the net twice.
Fabio Pereira made it 4-2 to Coritiba in the 77th minute, meaning that Rico's late strike counted for nothing for Náutico.
Figueirense 0-1 Internacional
Dogberto's 24th minute strike proved the difference as Internacional beat Figueirense 1-0 in Santa Caterina.
The result means Inter climb up to fifth in the table, while Figueirense drop down to nineteenth place.
Ponte Preta 1-1 Sport Recife
Ponte Preta and Sport Recife played out a 1-1 draw in Campinas.
Andre Luis fired Ponte in lead in the the 5th minute before Marquinhos Gabriel netted the equaliser sixteen minutes later.
Grêmio 1-0 Fluminense
Fluminense's unbeaten record in the Campeonato Brasileiro has finally come to end after they were beaten by Grêmio in Porte Alegre.
Kleber scored the only goal of the game in 68th minute and was then later sent off for hacking down Thiago Carleto from behind.
Corinthians 2-0 Cruzeiro
Corinthians have climbed up to tenth in the Brasileirão after defeating Cruzeiro 2-0 at the Pacaembu.
Chicão opened the scoring for the Copa Libertadores champions in the 22nd minute from the penalty spot before Inter Milan target Paulinho put the came to bed three minutes into stoppage time.
Atlético Goianiense 4-3 São Paulo
Atlético Goianiense have moved off the bottom of the table after they edged out São Paulo 4-3 in Goiana.
The home side opened up a three-goal lead after just thirty minutes of play thanks to goals from Marino, Patric and goalkeeper Marcio, who scored from the penalty spot.
Ademilson pulled one back for São Paulo in the 41st minute before Wesley made it 4-1 to Atlético on the stroke of half-time.
Jadson and Rafael Toloi both found the target for the Tricolor Paulista in the second-half, but their goals proved to be no more than a mere consolation.
