Arsenal have reportedly joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio César.
The 32-year-old's days at the San Siro appear to be numbered following the arrival of Slovenian shot-stopper Samir Handanovic from Udinese.
Recent reports have suggested that Tottenham manager André Villas-Boas is hoping to bring César to White Hart Lane after the club decided to withdraw their interest in Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Spurs now face stiff competition for César's signature as their north London rivals Arsenal are hoping to lure the Brazil international to the Emirates.
