Agent - Lucas wants Manchester United talks
The agent of São Paulo star Lucas Moura, Wagner Ribeiro, has revealed that the Seleção winger is interested in a move to Manchester United.
Lucas, 19, has been the centre of attention for the Old Trafford side for several weeks, but the words of Ribeiro are the first change in tact from an attitude of not wishing to leave São Paulo.
It appears Tuesday may prove a tipping point for the potential transfer, with both São Paulo and Lucas' agent insisting a deal can still be done.
''My boss is the player. I always talk to him,'' Wagner Ribeiro told Radio Globo. ''The person who determines what I do, and my guidelines, is the player. If he says he does not want to leave São Paulo, I wouldn’t even accept an offer.
''He told me to go ahead when I spoke about the interest of Manchester [United]. It's a great proposal. If it was something he couldn’t refuse, he would go. But he is also happy in São Paulo. [But] if he stays at São Paulo, life goes on''
