Inter Milan still in the race to sign Lucas Moura

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that the club are still interested in signing São Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura.

The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young talents currently playing in South America and has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.

United recently had a €33 million bid turned down by São Paulo for Lucas, but that does not appear to have put off Inter, who have long been chasing the Brazil international's signature.

''Let's see, let's see ... There is an auction that seems challenging, but Inter are [in] there,'' Moratto told reporters in Milan on Monday evening.

''But I'd prefer to see something done right or not at all.''
