Juventus coach Antonio Conte has expressed his delight at securing the services of Brazilian defender Lúcio.
The 34-year-old, who has 105 international caps to his name, joined Juve on a two-year deal earlier this month after leaving Inter Milan by mutual consent.
''I'm very happy with this signing,'' Conte told reporters when asked about managing to bring Lúcio to Turin. ''Look at his C.V, that makes it clear that we have signed a top player in his role.''
In his three-year spell at Inter Milan, Lúcio won one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia, one Super Coppa, the UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup.
