Figueirense 3-4 Atlético Mineiro
Guilherme stuck in a later winner as Atlético Mineiro edged a seven-goal thriller against Figueirense in Santa Catarina.
Former Barcelona ace Ronaldinho opened the scoring for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 17th minute before Anderson Conceição equalised twenty minutes later.
Julio Cesar put Figueirense in front on the stroke of half-time, and Ronny's goal on the hour mark made it 3-1.
There was still some drama to come, though, as Atlético Mineiro fought back to claim all three points via goals from Leonardo Silva (64'), Bernard (70') and Guilherme (75').
The results means the Galo have stretched their lead at the top of the Brasileirão to four points, while Figueirense remain one place above the relegation zone with eight points to their name.
Corinthians 2-1 Náutico
Copa Libertadores champions Corinthians picked up their second win of the season against Náutico at the Pacaembu.
It was the visitors who took the lead through Elicarlos' strike, but two goals from Danilo was enough to for the Timão to take all the points.
Ponte Preta 4-1 Coritiba
Ponte Preta moved up to seventh place by virtue of their 4-1 home thumping of Coritiba.
Roger put the hosts ahead in the 35th minute, but the Coxa were back on level terms four minutes later through Pereira's header.
Ponte retook the lead three minutes after the break via Ricardinho's strike before Roger found the target again in the 51st minute to make it 3-1.
Gil received a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Marcinho in the 89th minute, and then one minute on, Roger completed his hat-trick and wrapped up the points for Gilson Kleina's side.
