Fluminense coach Abel Braga has confirmed that Diego Cavalieri will miss this Sunday"s clash against Botafogo with a virus.
The 29-year-old, who has been in impressive form this year, picked up the illness earlier this week and was forced to leave training on Thursday after feeling dizzy.
"Cavalieri will not play [against Botafogo]," Braga told reporters. "He hasn"t been able to do any specific work this week, and on Thursday he felt dizzy, he was vomiting and he had diarrhea."
As a result, Ricardo Berna has been chosen to deputise between the posts in Cavalieri"s place.
