Inter Milan target Paulinho wants to remain at Corinthians
Inter Milan target Paulinho has stated that he wants to remain at Corinthians.
The 23-year-old played a key role in helping the Brazilian giants win the Copa Libertadores earlier this month and his performances over the last year have attracted the interest of the Nerazzurri.
''Corinthians are doing everything they can to keep me,'' Paulinho told fcinternews.it. ''I want to remain here and I hope that my future is resolved as soon as possible so that I can play without having any distractions.
''Inter have not spoken directly with me but they have spoken to my representatives. I want to reward Corinthians for their willingness to keep me.
''Wherever I go, I will nevertheless win. It's not a money issue, I just want to play football.''
Paulinho joined Corinthians, who only own 10% of the player's economic rights, two years ago from Bragantino.
