Former Chelsea & Barcelona ace Deco signs contract extension with Fluminense until the end of 2013

Fluminense have announced that Deco has signed a new contract with the club until the end of 2013 with the option of a further twelve months.
The former Portugal international, who's previous deal was set to expire this December, has shined for the Rio de Janeiro giants this year, playing a key role in their Carioca state championship winning campaign.
''My connection with Fluminense, who opened the doors for me, has grown every day,'' Deco told reporters at a press conference on Thursday. ''Things have gone well, and besides feeling happy, I also feel that people here feel the same way too.''
''Whilst the respect lasts, the affection and passion I have for the club will be a source of pride.
''About the future, we will continue to talk, but my focus right now is to play football.''
Deco, 34, recently admitted that he intends to end his playing career at Fluminense, who he joined from Chelsea in 2010.
