Acerbi – It will be a great privilege to play alongside Thiago Silva

Franceso Acerbi has lauded his AC Milan team-mate Thiago Silva, and feels privileged to be part of the same team as the Brazil captain.

The 23-year-old Italian defender recently earned himself a move to the San Siro after shining for Chievo last season, and now hopes to learn more about his trade from the Seleção ace.

''Thiago Silva is probably the best defender in the world at the moment but all the players here at Milan are excellent because you have to be excellent to play for Milan," Acerbi told the club's official website.

''It will be a great privilege to play alongside Thiago Silva. Hopefully I will learn quickly from him.''
