Diego Forlan joins Internacional on three-year deal

Internacional have announced that they have signed Diego Forlan from Inter Milan.

The 33-year-old striker, who had one year left on his contract at the San Siro, has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at the Beira-Rio until June 2015.

Internacional released a statement on their official website on Friday which read: ''Diego Forlan is the new reinforcement of Internacional. The Uruguay player is in Milan and will arrive in Porte Alegre on Saturday. The player will be unveiled tomorrow.''
