Arsenal midfielder Denilson rejoins São Paulo on loan

Arsenal midfielder Denilson has been allowed to re-join São Paulo on another season-long loan.
It was confirmed earlier today that the 24-year-old, who is a youth product of São Paulo, has signed until June 30 2013, after a reported increase in the money on offer to Arsenal.
The international player said: "I'm very relieved and happy. Now it’s time to be even more focused, working to claim the title."
"I spent a few days away from São Paulo to rest, so I'm ready to stop and return to train with my team-mates. We have an important game on Sunday.”
São Paulo's director of football Adalberto Bautista, who made the trip to England to negotiate the deal personally, said: “The quality of Denilson and after the good campaign he had here meant Arsenal would not initially release the player.
“Fortunately, we had high-level talks with the Arsenal board in England and everything was settled for the continuance of the player.”
The club and player were both looking for a permanent deal after Denilson’s impressive campaign for São Paulo, but Arsenal’s asking price was too high.
Denilson will have just one year left on his contract when his latest loan deal expires, making a permanent transfer more likely for São Paulo should they wish to keep the player.
