Former Manchester United player Kleberson joins Bahia

Former Manchester United midfielder and 2002 World Cup winner Kléberson has joined Bahia on a free transfer, after his release from Flamengo last week.

Kléberson, 33, was amongst the highest earners at Flamengo, who had looked to shift him off the wage-bill for some time. He will now join former-Inter winger Mancini at Bahia for the 2012 season.

"It's a start. I'm flattered by the offer and I know it will be very difficult at first, as I look to settle in," the midfielder said.

"But. I'm sure I'll do very well. I am a very experienced player and despite being 33 years old, I feel good. I take care of myself, physically."
