Former Chelsea star Deco – All four Rio clubs capable of winning the Brasileirão

Fluminense midfielder Deco believes all four Rio de Janeiro clubs are capable of winning the Brasileirão league title this season.

Vasco are currently third in the league with thirteen points, while Botafogo lie in fourth position with nine points. Meanwhile, both Fluminense and Flamengo also have nine points, but the Tricolor sit in seventh, one place above the Rubro Negro due to their better goal difference.

''The Rio sides are strong,'' Deco told Globo Esporte. ''All four clubs are capable of winning the title.

''In recent years, Vasco have always been one of the favourites.

''Botafogo have a team that are always up there, despite falling short in the final stretch of the season.

''Flamengo are a little behind in rebuilding their side, and are also in a bit of bother, but it's Flamengo.''
