Riquelme – Corinthians will be tough opponents

Boca Juniors midfielder Juan Román Riquelme has admitted that he is anticipating a difficult Copa Liberatdores final against Corinthians.

The Timão have never reached the final of the Libertadores before, whilst Boca have won the South American competition six times. However, Riquelme believes the Brazilian side will be no pushovers.

''Corinthians play good football and will be tough opponents. I'm sure it will be a hard final,'' the 33-year-old told reporters.

The two sides will kick-off their two-legged tie at the Bombonera next Wednesday.
