Ederson set to seal Lazio switch

Ederson has moved a step closer to joining Lazio after arriving in Rome on Thursday afternoon.

The 26-year-old, who has earned one cap for Brazil, will be available on a free transfer given that his contract with Olympique Lyonnais is set to expire at the end of the month.

Ederson joined Les Gones from Nice in 2008 in a deal believed to be worth around €14 million.

The midfielder made 115 appearances for the Stade de Gerland outfit, but suffered a serious hamstring injury in 2010 which restricted his playing time across the past two seasons.
