Siemsen – Conca wants to return to Fluminense

Fluminense president Peter Siemsen has revealed that Dario Conca wants to return to the club.
The 29-year-old left the Rio de Janeiro giants in 2011 to join Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande in deal believed to be worth around £10 million.
Conca, who is tied down to Guangzhou until July 2013, is still held in high regard by Fluminense fans after inspiring the club to the Campeonato Brasileiro title in 2011.
The Argentine playmaker has recently been linked with a move to Flu’s arch-rivals Flamengo, but Siemsen claims that the player has his heart set on a return to Laranjeiras.
''I have had a conversation with Conca, and he said that he wanted to return to Fluminense.'' the Tricolor chief told Rádio Tupi. ''We would welcome his return with open arms.
''If the Chinese club no longer want to keep him, then Fluminense are prepared to negotiate and, of course, try and bring him back here.''
