Flamengo to accept £1 million China friendly

Flamengo look set to accept a £1 million offer to take on Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande in a friendly match this summer.

Vice President Paulo Cesar Coutinho confirmed the possibility of the fixture and that the club is working with the CBF in order to find an available date, most likely during the Olympics.

The match would take place in China and see Flamengo come up against Brazilians Paulão, Muriqui and Cléo, as well as fellow South Americans Dario Conca and Lucas Barrios.
