Former Chelsea playmaker Deco to extend contract with Flu

The agent of Deco believes his client will extend his contract with Fluminense next week.

The 34-year-old's current deal with the Tricolor expires this December, but the former Portugal international has already admitted that he would like to play for the Rio de Janeiro-based club until the end of next year before calling time on his football career.

''I have already spoken with Rodrigo Caetano [Fluminense's director of football] and I think by next week, Deco will have his contract renewed for another season,'' Luisão told Radio Brasil.
