Messi's father – My son and Neymar have a good rapport

The father of Lionel Messi has revealed that his son enjoys a good relationship with Neymar.

At the age of 20, Neymar is often compared to Messi, with Brazil legend Pelé recently stating that his compatriot is a more complete player than the Argentina international.

Barcelona have long been chasing the Santos prodigy's signature, and Messi senior has hinted that the two forwards would not have a problem playing alongside each other.

''Leo [Messi] told me that Neymar is a good kid,'' Jorge Messi told RAC1. ''They spoke with each other and they have a good rapport.

''In addition to being a good player, Neymar is also a good kid.''
