Chelsea star Ramires has told reporters that he would jump at the chance to rejoin former side Cruzeiro, if they could afford his transfer fee.
Ramires, 25, came through at A Raposa and still holds a special bond with the club, but will not be rejoining them any time soon.
“I hope for that, that Cruzeiro would come now and make an offer… But, it’s difficult because the value is very high. However, if they came up with the money, I would return.
“I was happy there, I always say I would return because they were the side that gave me an opportunity and launched me to the world.
“At the time when they shouted “Ramires warrior,” I would shudder. Sometimes I put on the internet to watch the games and I remember them singing my name after the goals.”
