Barcelona tight-lipped over Thiago Silva link

Barcelona's spokesman Toni Freixa has said that he cannot 'confirm or deny' reports suggesting that the club are interested in signing AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.
The Brazil captain has attracted attention from a host of clubs around Europe over the past twelve months, and speculation has claimed that Barca have made the 27-year-old their top transfer target this summer.
However, in addressing the rumours, Fexia refused to give much away regarding Barcelona's supposed interest in Thiago Silva.
''Do not take it for granted that our priority is Thiago Silva, who is, however, a great player,'' the Blaugrana representative told Marca.
''The news has come out and I don't want to discuss the sources, but, in any case, I do not want to either confirm or deny [it].
''I cannot confirm interest in one player or another, because we're not at that point yet.''
Thiago Silva's contract with AC Milan runs until 2016.
