Oswaldo asks fans for Seedorf patience

Botafogo manager Oswaldo do Oliveira has given positive signs about the club's chances of signing Holland legend Clarence Seedorf, but has told fans he will need time to adapt.
Seedorf, 36, would face the challenge of adapting to a new footballing culture and, when combined with his age, Oswaldo appreciates that it will take time for the Surinam-born midfielder to adjust.
However, with Seedorf's supreme talent and Brazil-based family, it shouldn't be too long before he is firing!
"Of course I know that we are trying to sign him, and if this transfer takes place, it will be a big marketing move and a big addition to the team as well," Oswaldo told a press conference.
"His quality is undeniable. But he will need to adapt: his season has just ended, he is 36 years old and he will play in an unfamiliar atmosphere.
"But his wife is Brazilian and he often comes on holiday, which is good. I think he will not have a problem to control those problems."
