Thiago Silva could miss Argentina clash

Mano Menezes could be without Thiago Silva for Brazil's friendly against arch-rivals Argentina on Saturday, as the defender was forced to sit out of Tuesday's training session due to a knee injury.

The AC Milan player was forced off halfway through the second half in the Seleção's 2-0 defeat by Mexico on Sunday after complaining of feeling pain in his right knee.

Should Thiago Silva fail to recover from his problem in time for Saturday's game in New Jersey, then São Paulo's Bruno Uvini is the likely candidate to partner Juan at centre-back.
