Lucas Moura confirms informal Real Madrid talks

São Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura has confirmed that his agent and father have held talks with Real Madrid directors about a potential transfer to the Spanish club this summer.

The 19-year-old's parents and representative were spotted being shown around the Santiago Bernabeu in March, which fuelled speculation that the Brazil international would join Real Madrid.

Lucas has now come out and admitted that he has held informal talks with Los Blancos, but insists that he is solely focused on São Paulo.

''They [Real Madrid] are one of the biggest clubs in the world,'' he told Esporte Espetacular. "But for now I am thinking only of São Paulo.

''My father went to Spain with my agent, who met the top directors, probably even Florentino Perez. There were some talks, but nothing official.''
