Internacional up Nilmar chase

Internacional have upped their pursuit of Villarreal striker Nilmar, with the Brazilian set to leave the Spanish side following relegation.
Nilmar, 27, is one of the hottest properties in European football currently, with Villarreal set to authorise a cut price deal to shift the forward from the wage-bill.
Nilmar told Guaiba radio show: "Mr President, let's sign the contract now. I would still like to be in Europe, but in Brazil, Inter are the priority. I will not stay at Villarreal, the president has already said they have to sell me because they have gone down to the second division."
As for the club, president Giovanni Luigi responded to say that the club will "do everything" to land the player.
"We will do everything to land the player, but we will do so responsibly. We are trying to find a way. Today you can say it's a dream to have Nilmar at Inter," Luigi told the show.
The main stumbling block for any deal will be finance, with the Brazilian club hard pushed to finance a deal. However, they will turn to investors in the coming days, with the hope of securing backing to make the signing possible.
