Luiz Antônio, 21, is now the youngest player in the Flamengo squad, after Muralha (19) was demoted to the reserves under Joel Santana.

Having played 20 of the club"s 24 games this campaign, Luiz Antônio can now claim to be a first-team regular, but still sees himself as learning from those around him.

“I try to learn a lot from Kleberson, Renato (Abreu) and Ibson, who is my idol," he told Globo Esporte.

“They are much more experienced players [than me], even Airton – who is only a year older than me.

“Ibson jokes wit me a lot, saying I"m a kid and I have much to learn from him (laughs). They have all played a lot, they are big players. We know that if you play badly, you fall to the back, but we are encouraging one another. And at this stage, we also protect each other."
