Thiago Silva – AC Milan must buy quality reinforcements

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has told his club that they need to buy quality reinforcements this summer if they are to have any chance of winning any silverware next season.

Milan's star forward, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, recently claimed that the Rossoneri had 'no money' to purchase the players they need for the 2012-13 campaign.

''Ibra and I want the same thing, which is for Milan to win,'' Thiago Silva told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

''This season it was so-so, therefore to win we need quality reinforcements.''

Silva recently stated that he wants to remain at AC Milan next season, despite the former Fluminense centre-back attracting interest from Manchester City and Barcelona.
