The 24-year-old, who is highly-rated in Brazil, had returned to action for the O Glorioso in March after serving a six-month suspension for failing a drugs test.
But a month later, Jobson was banned again for 10 days, this time by Botafogo – for having a heated argument with the club’s physiotherapist Altamiro Bottino.
The Rio de Janeiro-based club have now seemingly run out patience with the talented forward by opting to send him to Serie B side Grêmio Barueri.
Jobson is set to undergo a medical in the coming days before signing his contract with São Paulo side.
