Agent – No contact by Manchester City or Barcelona for Thiago Silva

AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has not been contacted by Manchester City or Barcelona about the possibility of a summer transfer, the player's agent has claimed.
City's manager Roberto Mancini had reportedly enquired about the Brazil international's services during a visit to Milan earlier this week, while Barça have been linked with the 27-year-old over the last twelve months.
''Neither I nor Thiago have had contacts with Manchester City or Barcelona,'' Thiago Silva's representative Paulo Tonietto was quoted as saying in the Sun.
''His preference is certainly Milan. Only the club executives of Milan can decide whether to sell the player.''
Thiago Silva's contract with AC Milan runs until June 2016.
