Corinthians plan loan offer for Pato

Leaders of the São Paulo-based club have made it publicly known that they are interested in the 22-year-old's services, despite the Brazil international spending the majority of the 2011-12 season on the sidelines recovering from a number of muscular injuries.
According to Lancenet, Corinthians would be willing to pay half of Pato's wages in a loan deal that would run for one year.
Pato recently stated that he was keen on staying at AC Milan, but his agent Gilmar Veloz has refused to rule out the possibility of his client joining the Brasileirão champions.
''Corinthians are a big club, Pato is getting ready for the next games and then we will see what we will do,'' Veloz told Lancenet.
