Manchester United full-back Rafael da Silva has been called up to the Brazil squad for the Seleção's four upcoming friendlies ahead of the Olympic games.
The 21-year-old replaces Barcelona's Dani Alves, who will spend up to eight weeks on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone during the week.
Rafael has never played for Brazil at senior level, but the former Fluminense player has represented his country for the Under-17 side.
Brazil will play Denmark on May 26, before taking on the United States (May 30), Mexico (June 3) and then Argentina (June 9).
