[VIDEO] Santos suffer 1-0 defeat to Vélez Sarsfied in Buenos Aires

Santos were beaten 1-0 by Vélez Sarsfied in the first leg of their quarter-final encounter at the Estadio José Amalfitani on Thursday night.

Mauro Obolo was the player that handed the Argentinian side the advantage in the tie, scoring a header 10 minutes before half-time.

Santos now face the task of overturning the deficit at the Vila Belmiro next Thursday if they are going to have a chance of retaining the South American crown.
