Ronaldinho: Expect a 'different' Flamengo

Ronaldinho, 32, has taken a lot of criticism for his performances as Flamengo failed to retain their state championship crown, as well as crashing out of the Libertadores.

However, the former-Brazil star expects a rejuvenated performance from Flamengo for the remainder of the campaign.

"You can expect a different Flamengo. We did well last year, we achieved our objective of putting Flamengo in the Libertadores and great expectations were generated. We ended up disappointing and disappointed," he told Flamengo's TV channel.

Flamengo have moved quickly to secure moves for Resende full-back Wellington and midfielders Amaral and Jorge Luiz, from Nova Iguaçu and Friburguense respectively.
