Santos won their third consecutive Paulista state championship on Sunday after running out 4-2 winners against Serie B side, Guarani.

Muricy Ramalho’s men were always in the driving seat having claimed a 3-0 victory in the first leg last weekend.

The last time Santos won the Paulista title three times in a row was when Brazilian legend, Pelé, use to play for the club – between 1967 and 1969.
