Vasco confirm €3 million Allan move to Udinese

Allan, 21, had a €3 million buy-out clause in his current deal which means that the Brazilian side are powerless to resist the sale of one of their brightest stars of this campaign.

"If they [Udinese] cover the fee, he should leave. It is bad to lose players. With the economic hardship we go through, it is very difficult to bring in replacements soon," Cristovão bemoaned.

"Allan is an important player as his quality and versatility are rare qualities in football," he noted.

Vasco will pocket a mere €600,000 from the deal, as the Rio de Janeiro outfit only possess 20% of the player's economic rights.
