Corinthians could loan Julio Cesar and Lulinha to secure Portuguesa midfielder

In their pursuit of Portuguesa midfielder Guilherme, Corinthians are set to sanction the loan moves of goalkeeper Júlio César and attacking-midfielder Lulinha.

With Cassio now first-choice in goal for the Timão, they are willing to sacrifice last season's number one for Guilherme, one of the stars of Série B last campaign.

Corinthians would purchase 35% of the player's economic rights, with Portuguesa retaining 35% and the remaining 30% dividing between two agents. Also included would be the two loan deals, as Portuguesa look for Brasileirão survival.

Lulinha is currently at Bahia, but there is a clause in his current loan-deal that could see Corinthians terminate the contract at any point.
