Former Brazil international Zé Roberto to join Grêmio
The 37-year-old midfielder, who has been playing for Qatari side Al-Gharafa for the past year, will join the Tricolor Gaúcho at the end of the month.
''Yesterday we had the joy of completing the negotiations for the arrival of Zé Roberto,'' Grêmio president Paulo Odone told reporters at a press conference on Friday.
''He is a smart player who knows the game and his signing has the full backing of coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo and our trainers.''
Zé Roberto, who won 84 caps for Brazil, has played for the likes for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Hamburg.
