Sandro: Tottenham can get third spot

Tottenham midfielder Sandro believes his team are well-positioned to take on Arsenal and Newcastle for third-place in the Premier League.

Sandro, 23, has impressed greatly in the past two encounters in the absence of Scott Parker and is hoping his side can get into the Champions League.

"The league is getting very tight now and the last three games - Bolton, Villa and Fulham - will all be like cup finals for us," Sandro said. "We can catch Arsenal and finish third. This is my dream and the whole team as well.

"We know we could finish fourth and not get in the Champions League if Chelsea win against Munich in the final so that makes finishing third extra important."

The Brazilian is expected to play a key role for Brazil at the London Olympics.
